Kaleo tend to live in small tight-knit communities were everyone knows each other. They do not have any official schooling system, instead adults pass down traditions and experience to the younger generations, teaching Kits how to read and write with a brail-like system.

Kaleo celebrate holidays similar to Christmas and Halloween where they give out treats and exchange gifts. They often have small festivals specific to their villages, as well as the continent-wide ones.

Kaleo are very cooperative within their own groups, and grow very close with just about everyone that lives in their village. It is rare for Kaleo to venture away from their villages for extended periods of time, outside of the Spirit Trials. They love to celebrate whenever they can and thus many villages have their own festivals surrounding events in nature, anniversaries for important moments within their own history, and, of course, birthdays.
